Yesterday Wumba got cut by a
knife. He got 3 stitches because the knife seem to be cutting his skin down
through the fat layer below the skin.
Deero took him to the emergency
unit immediately when he saw that Wumba’s left hand got wounded. Buba was
wanting to go with them too, but he didn’t have any ride, so he stays at the
apartment.
When they arrived at the
emergency unit at the hospital, the doctor took Wumba on a wheelbed. He told
Wumba to wait for some moments while they were preparing all the “stitching
stuffs”.
Surprisingly, Buba came to the
hospital to see Wumba. He called out his soon-to-be girlfriend, Lounda, who is
Wumba’s bestfriend too, to fetch him up at the apartment and took him to see
Wumba. When they arrived, the doctors’ just starting to stitch up Wumba’s
wound. Deero, Buba, and Lounda stood there watching curiously.
And Wumba was so happy at that
time. He has friends, those who will look out for him here, when he is away
from his family, his mother and sisters. They will take care of him, as he will
take care of them. There would be people who worried about him if they didn’t
hear a word from him in a couple of hours. There would be people who came for
him to hold his hands everytime he feel sad, gloomy or wasted. There would be
people who LOVED him.
Wumba still doesn’t know how
much, or whether it’s fake or real, or how long this will last. He doesn’t
care. All that matters is, now, in this exact time, they’re here for Wumba.
They care for Wumba. And that’s enough. Even more than enough.
